Currently I work full time for Vertu Motors, the UKs 6th largest motor retailer as their Internet Development Manager. I love my job and I’m very passionate about the company, it is an extremely fast paced organisation, with a rapid rate of growth. Vertu Motors predominantly trades under the Bristol Street Motors, Farnell Land Rover/Jaguar, Macklin Motors, Vertu Honda/Volkswagen brands and has a £2.1 billion turnover.
I’m also super passionate and dedicated to my trade, web development & digital marketing. I truly believe we are living through a revolution. The digital revolution.
It excites me that the industry has changed and evolved at an exponential rate. I recently enrolled on the Google Squared Online Marketing course, I soon realised that I had only scratched the surface of digital, there’s still and I think there always will be so much more to learn. The web industry is a very generous one, I am self-taught and with the internet model, most training and development has come at only a cost on my time. Recently I figured it was my time to start trying to give back, I want to teach junior designers/developers what I have picked up over the years, I want to help small businesses by trying to teach the basics and unravel the jargon of digital marketing.
